We will be gathering to hold the Louisiana Board of Commerce and Industry accountable for the decisions it makes in approving ITEP applications that create massive tax breaks for the wealthiest corporations in our state. By rubber-stamping these property tax exemption requests, the Board is giving away hundreds of millions of dollars in public funds that could otherwise be invested in schools, infrastructure, and other essential services.
