The CARES Act Civic Academy explains what resources there are now for families and small businesses, mostly those provided in the federal CARES Act.  We cover the stimulus checks--how much they are, who gets them, and how.  Then enhanced unemployment benefits, who’s eligible for how much and how to apply.  We look at possible assistance for financial obligations like rent, mortgages, utilities, various loans, and legal help.  And finally we look at resources for small businesses and religious, civic, and other institutions.
