At tonight's Metro Council meeting, council members will vote on a measure to reduce the tax millage for the nationally-renowned East Baton Rouge Parish Library system. This tax millage goes towards regular operations of the library and if reduced would severely limit the library's ability to deliver first-class service to patrons.

Together Baton Rouge will be sharing statements in opposition to the proposed library millage reduction.
