As Baton Rouge Police officers prepare to elect a representative to the Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service Board during their election on July 16-17, 2020,
"We are calling for BRPD Officers to REPLACE OFFICER MORUZZI on the civil service board".
We are pleased that there are four new candidates for the position, but are disappointed that Officer Robert Moruzzi is amongst the nominees.
We believe that those who serve on the Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service Board should:
- have a clean criminal and civil record
- have an outstanding police record
- understand that their role is to hold their peers to the highest standards
