PROPOSING MAJOR CIVIC ACADEMY CAMPAIGN

Propose the idea of consolidating ALL 6 of the major issues TBR is working on -- 1) Police Reform, 2) Grocery Store Access, 3) Flood Recovery / Prevention, 4) Health Access, 5) ITEP & Tax Reform, 6) School District Employee Salaries -- into a single "civic academy campaign."

This will consist of conducting presentations on each topic at congregations and institutions across our community over the rest of 2018.

At this lunch meeting, we'll introduce this strategy, have 2-minute updates on all 6 issue areas and then break into groups for discussion.

We'll end with identifying leadership for different areas of the campaign.
