We're organizing a group of leaders who are interested in researching ways to improve education in the East Baton Rouge school district. The book study group is open to teachers, parents, and community members who want to participate in an discussion and share ideas. The first book we're discussing is "A Match on Dry Grass: Community Organizing as a Catalyst for School Reform" by Mark R. Warrant, Karen L. Mapp, and The Community Organizing and School Reform Project.
